ℹ️ How the NF-e Access Key Works
The NF-e access key is a 44-digit numerical sequence that uniquely identifies an Electronic Fiscal Note. Its structure is nationally standardized and composed of the following fields:
- cUF (2 digits): State Code of the issuer (IBGE standard).
- AAMM (4 digits): Year and Month of NF-e issuance.
- CNPJ (14 digits): Issuer's CNPJ.
- mod (2 digits): Fiscal Document Model (55 for NF-e).
- série (3 digits): Fiscal Document Series.
- nNF (9 digits): Fiscal Document Number.
- tpEmis (1 digit): NF-e issuance form (e.g., 1 for Normal).
- cNF (8 digits): Random Numeric Code that is part of the key.
The last digit (DV) is the Check Digit, calculated using the Modulo 11 algorithm on the previous 43 digits to ensure the key's authenticity and integrity.
